This is a print I made in early April of this year, going back to my long forgotten "Burn" series which I started in 2011, during my junior year at MassArt. With the news of the passing of one of the great masters of the darkroom, Jerry Uelsmann, this image gained new significance as I reflected on the huge influence he's had on my work. His name always comes up when I talk about my love for the darkroom, as I've always admired his technique and his artistry.

As a teenager, he was one of the first photographers I got to know that captivated and inspired me to pursue photography in the first place. RIP Jerry Uelsmann

One of the virtual exhibitions I'm participating in is called Divine Feminine by ART from HEART based in London, UK. (Fancy!) They have a Public Choice Awards, you can vote in the link below- voting is open until the 30th the March! https://www.artfromheart.co.uk/public-choice-award-divine-feminine As for the exhibit, there's a nifty 3D gallery space but also a catalog of all the work here, there's some incredible work here, it's such an honor to be a part of this! https://www.artfromheart.co.uk/_files/ugd/cf7857_5a2e5f7e54484be6b4c7e12490d74bca.pdf
